Here at Alcanza, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2021, we have been determined to make an impact on the lives of Hispanic high school students. Our mission is to help these students and their parents navigate the intricate process of applying to college in the United States.
Our vision is to empower Hispanic students and their parents by educating them on a frequently misunderstood topic. We want Hispanic students to understand that they can attend four-year universities and win scholarships to help fund their education. We also strive to educate their parents so that they can better support and guide their children as they make future decisions.
We want our students to achieve their goal of attending college with little to no debt. With the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to reach their full potential. Our workshops are held in Spanish and English, both via Zoom and in person. We believe that providing information in both Spanish and English helps parents become more informed and better advocates for their children.
