Our Mission
Here at Alcanza, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2021, we have been determined to make an impact on the life of Hispanic high school students. Our mission is to help these students and their parents navigate the intricate process of applying to college in the United States.
Our Vision
Our vision is to empower Hispanic students and their parents by educating them on a topic that is often misunderstood. We want Hispanic students to understand that they are able to attend four year universities and to win scholarships to help pay for their schooling. We also strive to educate their parents in order for them to be better equipped to support and guide their children to make more informed decisions about their future.
Educational Events
We want our students to achieve their dreams of getting into college with little to no debt. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. Our workshops are conducted via zoom and in person in both Spanish and English. We believe that providing information in both Spanish and English helps parents be informed and better advocate and support their children.
